Chertsey Bridge

Just one shot for this blog, but probably more to come later.

This was taken about 7am on the steps down the side of Chertsey Bridge on the river Thames last weekend with my friend Helen (Marmalade). Usually she is found crawling around filthy abandoned buildings doing her urbexing stuff but this time we grabbed a few images out in the light!

The pouring rain had slowed just for a couple of minutes and we made the decision to keep our fingers crossed that nobody would walk down the steps and we should try and get the shot. Luckily everyone seemed to be asleep and we got away with it.

This was the last but one shot of about 10 that I took.  I think it came out looking really nice, originally it was going to be a mono image but I liked the colour too much!

I always love working with Helen, shes a really good photographer/editor in her own right too, so the pressure is always on to make good images.

If you would like to see more of her amazing work you can check out Helens website

Thanks for reading :)
